Math 425--Statistical Methods

Text: Introduction to the Practice of Statistics, Third Edition, by Moore and McCabe.

Homework: Homework will be assigned weekly and is due by noon each Thursday. Each homework assignment is worth 20 points.

Labs/Worksheets: We will have assignments to be done using statistical software. We will also have occasional in-class worksheets.

Midterms: There will be two midterm exams:

Each midterm is worth 100 points. A make up exam will be given only if I am informed before the scheduled test and then only for a substantial reason.

Final Exam: The final exam will be Thursday, June 13 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, in our usual classroom. The final is worth 200 points.
