Text: Contemporary Precalculus: A Graphing Approach
by Hungerford, Second Edition. We will cover chapters 1 - 5.
Homework: Homework will be assigned weekly and is due by 5 p.m. on Friday (slide it under my office door if you don't see me). Late homework will not be accepted. Each homework assignment is worth 15 points, but your lowest two homework scores will be dropped.
Quizzes;We will have a quiz every Friday we don't have an exam.
Quizzes are worth 25 points each. Your lowest quiz score will be dropped. There will be no makeup
quizzes.

Midterms: There will be two midterm exams:
Final Exam: The final exam will be Monday, March 13 at 5:45 p.m.,
location to be announced.
This is a group final for all the 111 classes. The final is worth 200 points.
Grading: The number of points possible is:
